this is a photograph i took for an assignment in yearbook camp(i know yearbook camp sounds goofy, but whatev). the photographers had assignments and im using this one for a CLOSE UP. i guess. hahaha. i dont know terms. and i dont really know what assignment it would fall under.......all i know is that i like it!
Yearbook camp...fun. No actually it sounds interesting. But I think the closest I'll come to that is my photography class this fall.
The lighting on this is really good, and the crop that made the headgear thing so minimal is really nice. I love how everything is perfect except for that. I like this photo because its just a very simple low toned portrait, but there is still so much character in it. I hope it did well for you on your project? Judging from the two daughters, you must have a really beautiful family.

I think its the lighting, the girls eye, and the retainer, braces watever that is, how it acts to almost frame.
